Family Profiles For St. Andrew’s 90th Anniversary: The 90th anniversary celebration will take place October 16-18, including special events on Friday evening and Saturday, a banquet on Saturday evening, and an anniversary worship service on Sunday morning. Our guest speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Nancy Cocks, Minister at St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Medicine Hat.

As part of the celebration, the Anniversary Committee is gathering family profiles. Families come in all shapes and sizes, and we all belong to the wider church family. Individuals, couples, families with children at home or grown… All are invited to share a family profile for our anniversary celebration. We hope that you will want to participate! Pick up a profile form from the entranceway table, and return it to the church office, preferably by the end of June.

A Commemorative Event to mark the close of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission will take place on Tuesday, June 2nd from 9:00-4:00 pm in Victoria Park, corner of Spadina & 17th St. (See bulletin board in downstairs hallway for agenda, or check out the Facebook page, TRC Commemorative Event-Saskatoon, SK.) Amanda is looking for five volunteers to help beginning at 10 am. Talk to her if you can help out.

St. Andrew’s Church School Windup Celebration will take place in the lower hall on Sunday, June 7th following worship. Children will have opportunities to make candy kabobs and have their faces painted. Everyone is welcome to stay for this social time and refreshments.

Camp Christopher Clean-Up Weekend – June 6-7: Please consider volunteering some time to help clean the camp for the summer and/or or help with handyman/ maintenance jobs. If you are available at other times, or want more info, contact Colin Robb at 306-229-0743 or email hidden; JavaScript is required.

Camp Christopher’s Annual Open House will be on Saturday, July 4th. There will be a barbecue at noon and an opportunity to tour the camp and enjoy some camp activities like games, swimming, and canoeing. A worship service will be held at 3 pm to commission our 2015 staff and bless them as they lead in this important ministry. Bring a lawn chair, bring a new camper, bring a friend! Contact Donna Wilkinson at 306-586-4026 or email hidden; JavaScript is required if you have any questions.

Vacation Bible School will be held at St. Andrew’s July 13-17, 9:00 am to noon, and volunteers are needed to help with registration, and to lead classes and activities. If you can help out, call or text Martha at 306-270-2378. Registration forms for children are available from the church office.

Summer Communion Services: On Sunday, July 12 we will celebrate the Lord’s Supper at the 11:00 am worship service. The next Sunday, July 19, there will be a Chapel Communion Service following the 11:00 am worship service for those who may have been away on July 12 or wish to participate again.
